My Farmers Market Planner Privacy Policy

My Farmers Market Planner is an NJL Design Lab app for recipe costing, pricing, pantry management, market planning, and small food-business organization. This Privacy Policy applies to the My Farmers Market Planner iOS app and related app support pages.

This app is designed to minimize unnecessary data collection. It does not use advertising tracking and does not sell personal information.

My Farmers Market stores app data locally on your device so you can manage recipes, pantry items, pricing inputs, market sessions, sales notes, photos, and related business information.

Local data may include ingredient names, package sizes, costs, recipe quantities, product prices, market notes, expenses, revenue, leftovers, recipe photos, and other information you choose to enter.

If you use iCloud, device backups, or other Apple services, Apple may handle device backup and sync according to your Apple settings and Apple’s own privacy terms.

The app may allow you to export your data as JSON or CSV for backup, bookkeeping, planning, migration, or review.

Exported files may contain business and recipe information, including pantry data, costs, pricing inputs, sales records, market notes, and other information you entered into the app.

Exports are user-controlled. Once you save, share, upload, or send an exported file outside the app, that file is handled by the destination you choose, such as Files, email, cloud storage, bookkeeping software, or another app.

My Farmers Market may include barcode lookup to help you add pantry items or product information more quickly.

When you use barcode lookup, the barcode value and related lookup request may be sent to a product-information or barcode-lookup service. That service may return product details such as name, brand, package size, or other available information.

Barcode lookup results may be incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. You should review and correct ingredient information before relying on it for recipe costing or pricing.

The app may let you attach or capture recipe photos, ingredient photos, labels, receipts, documents, or other images to help organize your workflow or speed up data entry.

Photos and documents you add may be stored locally on your device as part of your app data. If you choose to use an AI-assisted image or document feature, the selected image, document, extracted text, and related prompt may be sent to an AI service to process your request.

Do not upload sensitive personal information, payment details, confidential business records, or anything you do not want processed by an external AI service.

My Farmers Market may include AI-assisted features for recipe import, recipe parsing, guideline review, pricing support, document/image analysis, and workflow suggestions.

When you use an AI feature, the prompt you enter, the context needed to answer the request, and any selected recipe, document, image, or extracted text may be sent to an AI service provider to generate a response.

AI document/image pricing features may analyze a selected recipe, label, receipt, document, or image to help estimate ingredient costs, pricing inputs, or related setup details. These outputs are informational and may be incorrect or incomplete.

You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before using them for product pricing, labeling, compliance, bookkeeping, or business decisions.

If My Farmers Market offers paid features, in-app purchases, or subscriptions, those transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store.

NJL Design Lab does not receive your full payment card details from Apple. Apple may provide transaction status, subscription status, product identifiers, and related purchase information needed to unlock or manage app features.

Refunds, billing questions, and subscription cancellation are handled through Apple according to Apple’s App Store terms and your Apple ID settings.

My Farmers Market does not use advertising tracking, does not display third-party behavioral ads, and does not sell your app data to advertisers.

The app may use basic diagnostics, purchase validation, or operational services necessary to provide, secure, improve, or support the app. These are not used for advertising tracking.

You can manage app data through the app’s features, exported files, and your device settings. You can delete local app data by deleting the app, subject to any data retained in device backups, cloud services, exported files, or other destinations you chose.

If you share exported files, prompts, photos, documents, or app data with other apps or services, those destinations handle the information according to their own privacy policies.
